Painted in February 2024, with anticipation of Spring…right before I left for a 10 day voyage to Paris, France. To name this pair, I revived a practice I began in 2018, asking Instagram to help me find the best title. Several great ideas culminated in the simplest options and “The Conversation” won, as the pair resemble 2 faces greeting, talking, maybe talking silently to each other.
