Clouds, Lexington, KY / by Sarah Landolt

I'll tell you who has been killin' it lately-- CLOUDS. They have been really showing off this past week, as seen on everyone's Instagram. Exactly a week ago (oh no! it's already been a week!?!), I was biking home on a Sunday night and saw the gorgeous clouds rolling in, and thought to myself: I wish clouds were mattresses. Once I arrived home, I then got on my roof and took these pics of night clouds. They were hard to shoot due to lighting, but the moon was full and bright. Two days later, the clouds were showing off again in the daytime. The day started out overcast, but then about 4:30pm, the sun came beaming through. By 6:15 or so, the sky darkened again and a storm was a-brewin'. You can see the evidence of this below. Lastly, I've included one of my favorite poems by Charles Baudelaire. When I was making this post, I immediately thought of "J'aime les nuages...les merveilleux nuages!"

- L'or ?
